- Rebellion is a character trait of disobedience, non-compromise, and non-conformity. It can promote the development of innovation, because rebellious people dare to challenge tradition, dare to try new things, and dare to express their ideas. Rebellion is not absolutely good or bad, it depends on the purpose, method and result of rebellion.
- If rebellion is for the pursuit of truth, justice, and progress, through reasonable argumentation, experimentation, and creation, can bring about social development, human happiness, and self-realization. Then rebellion is a virtue, a strength, a contribution. If rebellion is to satisfy selfishness, arrogance, and paranoia, through violence, deception, and destruction, can cause social chaos, human suffering, and self-destruction. Then rebellion is a sin, a danger, a scourge.
- In this complex and changing world, we need to have a rebellious spirit, but also need to have prudent wisdom.
